AI Transparency System

Every guide shows how much AI assistance was used in its creation.

How It Works

1

Content Analysis

When creators publish a guide, we analyze the content with Claude to estimate how much of it reads as AI-generated.

2

Self-Declaration

Creators can also self-declare when they use external tools like ChatGPT outside the in-platform editor.

3

Before Publishing

Before publishing, creators see:

  • • The detected AI percentage
  • • Specific sections flagged as potentially AI-generated
  • • Which badge the guide will receive
4

Creator Choice

Creators can edit flagged sections to reduce AI usage, or publish as-is. Detection is informational — not a gate — and we trust creators to be honest.

Why We Do This

Transparency builds trust. Some guides are written entirely from real gaming experience. Others use AI to improve clarity and presentation. Both have value, but they’re different — and you deserve to know which you’re getting.

For Readers

Every guide shows its AI transparency badge on the guide page, next to the author, so you can factor it into your decision before you read or buy.

Our thresholds are intentionally generous: grammar fixes, clarity passes, and light polish stay in the Human tier. We only flag guides where AI is doing the heavy lifting.

👤

Human

Written from real gaming experience (0-30% AI-detected patterns)

AI-Assisted

Human experience enhanced with AI for clarity and polish (31-60% AI)

🤖

AI-Enhanced

Significant AI assistance used in content creation (61%+ AI)

For Creators

We encourage using AI to polish your writing — grammar, clarity, readability. Guides should still be grounded in your real gameplay experience.

Best practices

  • Write from your actual gameplay experience
  • Use AI for grammar and clarity improvements
  • Check AI detection before publishing
  • Be honest if you used external AI tools
