S Tier

Zweihander
Slow swings allow this weapon to excel in drags or accels alike. Long reach provides ultimate coverage for slow or fast enemies. This weapon is really a jack of all trades and is the reason it is in S tier. Although expensive, pulling most of your points away from perks and armor, it is well worth it.

Halberd
Similarly to the Zweihander this weapons slow swings allow easy drags and accels. Some would argue it does it better due to a slightly more unpredictable weapon curve. Really the main thing that puts this weapon in S tier for me is the sheer damage output and weapon manipulation potential. A very solid weapon choice for any build.

Eveningstar
Useful for bashing stuff and really good at it. I put this one at S tier over the Maul simple because the swing speed makes it more versatile. Damage isn't as high as the maul and 1-shot headshots aren't as common, but still a very strong contender.

Greatsword
The perfect beginner weapon. I couldn't leave this one out because it is simply that easy to use. Drags? Why not. Accels? Absolutely. This weapon is extremely versatile. Slashes and stabs do good damage providing a great weapon base for any build. For versality and damage potential I put this weapon in S tier.

Longsword
Personally, this weapon is a step down from the greatsword but still does both drags and excels wonderfully. A huge benefit is that this can also be used as a basher with its alt mode increasing usability. Why have a slasher and basher when you can have both in 1? This weapon has been placed in S tier.

Waraxe
Honestly there isn't much to say about this weapon except spam, spam, spam. This weapon does it beautifully especially in large groups. Most enemies, unless hit on the legs, die from 2 hits which is amazing. Although I personally am not a fan of the spammy weapons, I placed it in S tier because it's that good.

Scimitar
I had to place Scimitar in S-tier. Its speed and damage for a 1-handed weapon were just too good to leave out. I personally don't use it often, but I fear skilled scimitar users that are also good with a bow. Although the stabs aren't super amazing, the quick slashes deal extraordinary damage for a single-handed weapon.

Training Sword
Yes, the training sword. The only weapon that isn't S tier itself but shows that the player themself is S tier. FIGHT ME!
A Tier

Polehammer
Think of the Halberd but with a smashing end instead. It doesn't do as well against large groups of enemies due to its blunt attacks, but it makes up for it with sheer damage output against armored enemies. It's basically a Maul on a stick so very deadly and deserving of A tier.

Falx
Honestly just another two-handed sword with slightly different swing times. Nothing super amazing but really good against unarmored targets (Like all bladed weapons). One thing that I personally found is that the range is lacking. However, due to all the other reasons mentioned above I had to put it in A tier.

Estoc
This is by far one of the best weapons designed purely for stabbing and getting around blocks. There have been numerous occasions, more times that I can count, where I thought I blocked an attack from this weapon, yet it simply passed through. It's mainly easy by people who like to spam stabs while also having reliable slashes, by reliable I mean better than spear. A decent weapon overall deserving its spot in A tier.

Battle Axe
This is kind of the war axe from Temu. I don't necessarily mean WAY worse but in my opinion, it doesn't compare to the war axe. The damage is lower and the swing speed is in this where spot where you have to try extra hard to both accel and drag your attacks. The one redeeming quality is that it is cheaper and allows an alternate mode to switch up the swing speed/range. Due to these reasons, I put it in A tier.

Pole Axe
This is probably the most overpowered weapon in the game (Yes I know this is a heated argument), however I put it in this spot because I personally despise the weapon. I could not put it lower in good faith because it is genuinely a strong weapon, but I will not put it in S tier. Ever.

Rapier
This little stinger is basically a baby Estoc. Very fast, hard to detect, and deals exceptional stab damage for its size. The slashes have a bit to be desired but overall, a strong weapon perfect for lighter fighters. This weapon sits in A tier due to these reasons.

Mace
I suck at this weapon to be completely transparent. Blunt damage causes it to be less than ideal in group settings and the range is... meh. A strong weapon in the right hands though and that is why it is placed in A tier.
B Tier

Executioner Sword
This weapon is GREAT for horde mode. The slashes on this weapon are extremely powerful for its cost and size easily 2 shotting fully armored foes. However, beyond that and in any other mode it lacks a lot to be desired. The stabs are pitiful, the swing recovery is terrible, and it just belongs in B tier.

Maul
Okay first I have to say I LOVE the maul. In fact, it is actually one of my favorite weapons. However, I won't advocate saying it is the best weapon I have ever used. At a glance the 1-shot headshots sound op, but in gameplay its hardly worth mentioning. Slow swing speed, issues with large groups of enemies, and large vulnerability during wind up puts the Maul in B tier.

Billhook
This weapon is really unique in the sense that it can pull enemies off horses. Other than that, it really isn't anything special though. The damage is okay in both slashes/stabs but not enough to pull it higher. The drag/accel potential doesn't come close to other 2-handed weapons. For those reasons this weapon sits in B tier.

Bastard Sword
Another really fun but just not amazing weapon. The cool thing about this weapon is you can switch between 1 and 2-handed modes. The only problem is that it doesn't really excel in either. That is why it sits in B tier.

Short Spear
Spears in this game are in general difficult to play. The short spear, although shorter, is actually the easier and better variant in my opinion. The shorter length allows you to defend close up attacks easier than the 2-handed version. The only thing pulling this into B tier is the slash damage. While expected since it is a spear, it inevitably pulls it to B tier.
C Tier

Spear
The non-stunted spear is great for game modes such as frontline and invasion in tight corridors requiring you not to commit immense amounts of team damage. The issue is that is really the only good use case. There are genuinely some really good players with this weapon that can be successful in duels but getting to that point is much more difficult than the better weapons. For these reasons the spear is in C tier.

Cleaver
The Cleaver is actually my go-to weapon when it comes to my archer builds. Additionally, I also like to use it as my weapon of choice for a dwarf Cleaver Shield build. At some point I actually plan on building a guide showing some of my favorite builds. Anyways, this weapon is great with amazing damage output. The issue is its reach making it much harder than other weapons. If you have any sort of armor and are fighting an unarmored foe that knows how to dodge, you may as well accept defeat. Due to the information mentioned above, this weapon is placed in C tier.

Short Sword
Similar to the Cleaver but more on the stabbing side. Reach is a bit better but honestly nothing to go crazy about. I actually haven't used this weapon much personally so I can't say much beyond that. For lack of personal experience and my limit uses I put it in C tier.
D Tier

Axe
The axe is actually a really strong option for users to have a versatile weapon that can be used against both armored and unarmored enemies. The only issue is that it doesn't do either exceptionally well. Additionally, the stab damage and reach are both underwhelming. Although I really like this weapon, that puts it in the D tier.

Falcion
I personally like to think of the Falcion as the Cleavers bigger brother. The funny part is that the damage is actually lower than the Cleaver! So, you get more range, but the tradeoff is you deal significantly less damage. That trade, in my opinion, puts the Falcion at D tier.
E Tier

Quarter Staff
I wish there was a lot I could say about this weapon but sadly there isn't. In my opinion this weapon is extremely under tuned. The damage is abysmal, the drag potentials are terrible, and the lack of group fighting potential is horrendous. It's really a bummer because in reality quarter staffs were strong weapons. For these reasons I had to put the Qaurter Staff at E tier.

Warhammer
The Warhammer is basically a Cleaver but worse. Not even joking, the range is quite similar, but the damage is what really pushes this weapon to E tier. Most of the damage between the Warhammer and Cleaver is close enough to be identical. The issue is that the Cleaver also deals relatively decent stab damage. The Warhammer on the other hand? Nope. For being a Temu version of the Cleaver, I had to move it to E tier.
F Tier

Blacksmith Hammer
The blacksmith hammer is actually a decent weapon when it comes to utility. You can both repair and kill things! The only issue is that it really is only meant for repairing so all damaging stats are lackluster at best. Since this guide is ranking weapons, I had to put it in F tier.

Wooden Mallet
This is the worst of the worst. S I don't think I need to say much about this 'weapon'. Great for repairing, NOT for killing. Putting it in F tier. P. S. Yes, I realize it is meant for repairing.
Conclusion
I realize I am a little biassed when it comes to my ranking. If you couldn't tell, I LOVE 2 handed weapons. However, I stand behind that. 2 handed weapons are genuinely superior in every way to single handed weapons (unless they are paired with a shield). The extra reach, damage output, and crowd control capabilities make them invaluable in most situations. One thing I do like is that this actually matches history—2 handed weapons were favored by legendary warriors for good reason. Anyhow, thank you for taking the time to read this guide. It took quite a bit of effort putting this list together. See you in the next one!
