THIS GUIDE IS A WORK IN PROGRESS!
I won't pretend that I am a pro Mordhau player, but I would like to leverage my 700+ hours of gameplay experience as my ticket to writing this guide. Please let me know if you see any inaccurate information or have any suggestions.
What is a Drag?
In short, a Drag is the action of using a combination of footwork and aim manipulation to increase the time an attack takes to hit your opponent. A good Drag results in the enemy blocky early and your blow avoiding their block.
What is an Accel?
Think of an Accel as the opposite of a Drag. An Accel is the combination of footwork and mouse manipulation to reduce the time an attack takes to hit your opponent. A good Accel results in the enemy not blocking fast enough allowing your attack to slip through their defenses.
So how do I Drag/Accel?
Weapons?
When it comes to dragging weapons, a huge part of successful drags is the weapon you use. With my personal experience, some of the best weapons for dragging include:

Halberd

Zweihander

Greatsword
You get the picture. Any large 2-handed weapon is great for dragging. There are a select few single handed weapons but I will not discuss those in this guide.
How do I become a master at Drags/Accels?
The main way to become a master (Or at least better) is to practice. Practice doesn't make perfect but it does make you better. Keep swinging and one day they will land!
I highly recommend not using third-person while learning Drags/Accels. Although it makes your ability to do such moves easier, it makes it significantly harder to read movements of your opponent. It is paramount that you get used to and good at first-person to quickly improve your skill.
